Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. Two years ago I lost about 15 lb doing Suzanne Summer's Plan. A lot happened in the meantime, a major move, quitting work to go back to School for a paramedic and firefighting program - a whole new profession for me, just to name a few and I found myself getting off the plan more and more. Sad to say, the 15 lbs are back. Last time I did the plan with a support group. That kept me inspired. I am happy to have found this support group and look forward to reading about all of you successes (might help my spelling too). My problem right now is that time is always so short that I have a hard time planning ahead. Then, when I'm hungry, I find myself reaching for the wrong foods.
Today is my first day back on track. My kids have already requested home made pizzas for dinner. Guess I'll be having mine with invisible crust. I weighed in at 156 and I plan to not weigh myself until next Tuesday. We'll see how it goes.

Welcome Vera. You could make your pizza with cooked ground beef as the "crust". It's delicious and legal LC!

One thing which will help you get interested in planning to have meat, cheese and cooked eggs on hand is: this way of eating provides a good supply of protein which encourages lean sleek muscle tissue in the place of the fat you lose. That means you may not have to get down to your target to look the way you want to. Many people are smaller at a higher weight than they were on the way up because of the lean body mass that replaces fat.

You never know, your kids could come to prefer the "meatsa" to the crusty kind. ;)

Thanks BarB,
Meatsa is a great idea. I did have pizza, but decided to use portion control and a very, very thin crust. My only slip up of the day. Tomorrow I will be completely low carb.
