Lost 2 inches since January 1, only 4 lbs though
I've been pretty good - though I confess I've had a few minor "deviances". I found these 2 liter green taco sauce jugs on sale at Big Lots for $1.99 - they have 1 carb/TBS. Wonder how it will taste on baked chicken? Maybe it will be a good marinade too?
Just bought 3 bags of frozen broccoli for 89 cents/bag. I'm sure this will help me get my veggies each day. My kids even like it! I also found this microwave pork rinds - will try this for a snack. I found 16 oz cans of salmon on sale for 99 cents. Been eating 1/2 can w/mayonnaise every morning for breakfast. I think the fat helps keep me satisfied. I just wish I could lose faster - but I'm destined to be a turtle. I've been taking measurements every Sunday so at least I can see a bit of progress each week. |
losing slowly
Losing slowly has one big plus: You are much less likely to have saggy skin! I saw a scary news segment about gastric-bypass patients having full body lifts after losing over 100 pounds! I mean the photos were frightening!
And 4 pounds is 4 pounds!!! Go pick up 4 cans of food and see how much less you have to cart around! I know we would all like to wake up at our ideal weight...but like th ad says, "we don't live anywhere newar Perfect"!!! Hang in there!~ |
Plus, you're losing inches, which to my mind are more
important! I keep forgetting to measure myself, but many on the board say that at times, they've lost little weight, but have lost a lot of inches. If you're doing strength training, you might be gaining some weight, since muscle weighs more than fat. But it sounds like you're right on track! Good luck :D ! Jill  |
Thanks everyone! I needed that
This HAS to get easier somehow...
