I have too much nervous energy and too little attention span to do yoga. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Yoga is great for building core strength and stability. The toughest exercises my trainer has ever placed upon me were yoga stretches. Ignore the detractors and “GO FOR IT”.

I started with Yoga and my flexability and stability have invreased dramaticly from where they were a year ago I would highly recomend it
to me it also energizes my body as well as alowing me to relax my mind

Definitely beneficial for flexibility and strength. I always feel so wonderful and relaxed after class. Also your dh or bf will thank you...even better if you can coax him into class...;)

I would love for my DH to join in... I've mentioned it many times but for what ever reason he's got his hang ups and won't join... I'm going to start next week (a new class begins) and can't wait!! :D

Best but not quite enough for everything

Yoga's the single best exercise routine I've ever done but I can't quite do it hard? well? intensely? enough for it to be the only thing I do. I have my own routine that I do a couple of times a week and feel way better after, in my body and in my mind.

Wish I'd arrange my life to do it more often and so far, haven't acted on that.

My experience is that the more I do it, the better my attention span. Acting your way into better thinking.

I've also done Power Yoga in the past... it's great.... it's a real kick ass , make you sweat work out and muscles you don't even know you have are NOT very happy with you the next day but WOW what wonderful feeling when it's over!!

yoga anyone

I think a class would be better, especially for a beginner cuz the instructors walk through the room ensuring you have the proper posture and positioning etc... At times you think you have the move down pat, then the instructor moves you ever so slightly and you realize that your posture was all wrong.

Erich Schiffman and Ali McGraw

Yoga Mind, Yoga Body. It's a great video. Collagevideo.com has it--the place with all the exercise videos.

I love doing yoga...it really tones and it is really calming...I thought I wouldnt have the patience but I found it really chilled me out and it helps me to focus on my body....YAY FOR YOGA...
