seven net carbs, not bad! especially when you add in the fat that slows down the process and all that fiber, these MUST be low on the glycemic index |

I don't like grits but my dd loves them and I have snuck a tablespoon to eat with my eggs, so I would buy it just so I could have something different to eat without the guilt...I grew up with cream of wheat, but as long as dd has grits, I'll probably be tempted, so gonna check this out. Thanks...

Aren't soy grits just TVP? I don't think they're supposed to be like "grits" grits. They're used as a vegetarian replacement for ground beef in sauces, chili, etc.

Soy grits are to the bean what bulgar is to wheat. They're crushed, steamed and dried for quicker cooking. If you use them, fry them in oil until browned or dry fry them. They'll have a nicer, nuttier taste.
