Sure there are plenty of day that I eat more than that and would be hungry if I didn't. I see the salads but maybe you could add some other veggies for an in between snack such as a plate of steamed broccili or cauliflower topped with cheese.....filling and lots of nutrients.

How big are your salads?

KristineHe Tue, Jan-10-06 04:26

size of a cereal bowl

But how much lettuce, how many ounces of meat, etc? Do you measure your vegetables?

I'm not seeing you list a lot of vegetables and salads. For dinner, maybe try having meat, a veggie and a salad. That might help the hunger pangs. The other thing I have always found, is that if I am hungry during the day, that I will have sliced meat and creamcheese rolls something about the protein/fat content seems to help me, then have a chef salad or a tossed salad for lunch.

Increase your fats with olive oil, or an avacado. That really helps me. Good luck.

I have to agree. Increase some fat intake like Cream Cheese, Mayo, Butter. Try that for a few days.

I was real hungry at first but after about 5 days on induction I started not being so hungry... I think part of it is men tal..for me...the fact that I am restricted plays with my head...just ride it out...

Like others have said, you could add more fats and more veggies to your day at first glance.

Track your foods in fitday.com and see where you are coming out...if you are in induction, you should be AROUND 65% fat / 5% carbs / 30% protein.

Also, eat more frequently throughout the day, and whenever you get hungry.

Good luck!

I second that. Fats make you feel full for longer!

Add butter to steamed veggies and olive oil to your salad.
