Seriously starting again

Hello everyone!

I am SO happy and excited to have found this site!! It is just what I need!

I think I should have posted here first, but instead jumped right in and started my low-carb journal. It's great to be able to talk about what I'm eating and not be critized for being on this particular WOE.

I'm from S. Cal, but have been living here for the past 13 years. I have 4 kids (ages 17dd, 15 ds, 12dd and 10dd) not to mention dh, two dogs, 3 land turtles and 4 water turtles!!

I did really well on Atkins for abot 9 months, then slacked off, and well, you all know...... the weight starting to suddenly appear! I am totally disgusted with myself for that, but am serious about getting back to this way of life!!

I've got a little brag, too: I've lost 5lbs already and it hasn't even been a week since I started induction!!! YIPPEEE!!! I'm on a roll, now.... and I'm not talking bread, heehee.

I'm looking forward to sharing notes and successes with all of you,

Lorrie

Great to hear from you Lorrie!

If you did it once you can do it again. This time you will know what is in store if you slack of too. Talk about incentive. ;)

Keep up the good work!

Greetings

Hey Lorrie. As do the other girls, I welcome you to this wonderful forum. I am also on my second go-round of Atkins. How I ever thought that I could maintain by returning to my bad habits is beyond me but thank goodness, I am back on track. I started again in May and am down 25 pounds. I've kind of hit a stall but come here daily to be inspired. The key is trying for variety in foods, the supplements and of course, the water! Glad you made it here. Good luck and we're all with you.
Cheers,
Lara
