New to LC - 14 days before Xmas!
 

Wow, what a wonderful forum. :hyper:

I've spent quite a bit of the day reading journals and exploring topics! I even started a journal of my own.

I'm 40 years old and 40 pounds overweight. Both are a bit difficult to get used to! Time will take care of the first, I'm here to help deal with the second.

I also have hypothyroid disorder. My medication is Levoxyl (0.1 mg). I'm hoping some of you can help me with this, as I've had a really hard time finding foods that work for me, and keeping my energy level up. In addition to the Levoxyl, I take St. John's Wart and a multi vitamin.

I have 3 children; a daughter - 15, two sons - 13 and 10. They are generally GREAT kids, but I really need my energy repaired to deal with two teenagers and one wana be!

My husband is a great guy and very supportive of my dieting attempts but I need help from others doing the same thing I am.

I'm looking forward getting to know you in the weeks to come.

Welcome to the forum! As I'm sure you've seen, there is a wealth of information to be found on here, both in all of the links, and all of the experience of the memebers.

Feel free to jump into anyone's journals with any questions you may have (we all do, and it's the best way to meet other people around here).

I to turned 40 this year. I am going back on Atkins super strict the induction phase email me if I can lend a hand with support.
