Howdy good people. Been a while since I've visited and just wanted to say hi. I hope everyone is back on track after Christmas!

For anyone that's interested, I wanted to post an update about Ross Chcolates. Hubby was talking to them today and it is the greatest thing, especially for a fellow Canadian. Mr. Ross is in Belgium today, investigating getting more chocolate! His business is going gangbusters. So fast, they can't keep up.

Mr. Ross wants to have 27 different flavours by the end of 2001. The next two that are supposed to be coming out are chocolate raspberry and chocolate orange.

Some of the flavours he might try are chocolate amaretto, chocolate english toffee, too many to remember! If you haven't tried the Mint, you don't know what you're missing!

The reason hubby phoned was that the mint label doesn't have the carb listing. It is the usual 3 almost 4 carbs. Seems that Health Canada is being very sticky about the way the label is supposed to read. Oh well, small baby steps!

Have a good weekend everybody.

Hi Robin,

Are you guys still having Winnipeg low-carb get-togethers?

I think all the new batches from Ross have no counts, not just the mint.

I think when Ray was talking to Ross Chocolates, he said the mint bars were just under 4, like the rest of them. The only one that is really low is the dark chocolate. Not exactly my fav of the group, but it still is mighty tastey. Haven't tried the Almond bark idea yet, might be a plan.

We have been a little slow from this end. One of our group went south for a couple of months and I couldn't find another one as either their address had changed or I had it wrong, but now all is right with the world! I am going to try to organize something. I think we need a pick me up.

It's so cold here today. -40 windchill. Brrrrr. Oh well, groundhog didn't see his shadow, so it's supposed to be an early Spring. Now if only the flooding won't happen from all the rain last fall, we should be in great shape for the next natural disaster!

Brrr. I still have no doubt you guys will manage a few get togethers, you were the first! :)
