Hi. I've been on Atkins for awhile now, just came across this forum.

It looks like there is a lot to learn.

One problem for me, which I try not to give too much power, is that I take some medications that have made it easier for me to gain weight over the years. I've been losing steadily now for awhile, still on the meds. It is so frustrating.

but it isn't just meds. Most of my family is full, two other siblings are morbidly obese -- and they don't take my meds. That makes it easier for me to believe that I am not just fat because I eat too much, helps me believe that are biological issues, such as metabolic resistance.

Hope lives within me. I look forward to getting to know each of you.

As you explore the different threads here, you'll find a lot
of talk and info concerning meds. and weight gain. You're
sure not alone there! :)
