2nd Time Around
Well this is my second time around doing Atkins. I am excited to get started on the right road to weight loss. Jan 2002 I started the first time, and I lost 35lbs. kept it off for awhile, then something happened in my life, that shook my whole world and I let my self go. That was last summer and I feel it is time to get things back under contrrol and start over with this new life style. I feel like I really know the WOE and am ready to feel WONDERFUL again. By the way I gained every pound back, so I am back at square one. I know that I will be successful, this time I won' t let life's trials get the best of me. I know I can do this.
DAY 1 of induction Ann |
Hi Ann and welcome!
Hope we can help you along the way here. Think about staying a while and starting a journal. I find it helpful to be accountable and having to post my food daily. Also gives us all a chance to get to know you better. All the best to you and I know you can do it this time to goal! |
Hi Ann,
You know LCing works! And you know you can do this. Now you have to think about why you didn't make LC a way of life. This isn't a fad diet. It is a way of eating and a way of living. We are all doing this, making LC a way of life. We are here for support and movivation. As Lisa said, start a journal it will really help you in LC journal to a healthier you. |
Hi Ann:
I'm with Lisa & Kelly. Start a journal. Being a sugar addict, I start each day's journal posting with the number of days I've been without sugar. I'm horrified about actually having to go back to "0" in my journal  so it keeps me on the straight and narrow. Of course I could lie, but what would be the sense..... ;) Hope to see ya around, Wanda |
welcome back!
Life happens, and we emotional eaters have to really watch that we keep this WOE moving in the right direction and support each other.
Glad you are back! Jan  |
Theresa113 referred to an article in another post called the "Golden Shot". It is at www.lowcarbluxury.com/goldenshot.html. I would post the link, if I only knew how. The more you have dieted in the past, the slower the weight loss. Be persistent. It does come off. Also, you may lose inches before the scale moves. So don't get overly concerned in the beginning. Your experience may not be similar to your first try, although I'm sure it will be just as succesful in the long run this time.

Thanks Wanda, I didn't realize when you post, the link is automatic. I deleted the "http://" when I shouldn't have. Oh well, live and learn.

Hi Paradise:
Everything was perfect except for the "period" on the end of the link. :) Wanda |
