carb count for a can of diet coke

Hello,
Can anyone please tell me what's the carb count for a can of diet coke?
Thanks ;)

Zero carbs. But if you are sensitive to caffiene of aspartame, watch out!

Hi Disneybebe!

I used to be a Diet Coke junkie and could easily put away a 2 liter bottle in a day, but I've found that Aspartame really does a number on my blood sugars so I've pretty much given it up altogether. I might still have a can once in a blue moon now, but I pretty much stick to decaf coffee or water now. Diet Coke doesn't have any carbs in it, but it does have Aspartame, caffeine (in the regular Diet Coke) and citric acid, all of which can stall you if you are sensitive to them. Still...if you can have it without a problem, go for it! I remember you said in another post that it's really hot there right now, so make sure that you are drinking plenty of water too!

Hi Lisa,
Thanks ;)
I'm averaging about 5 to 6 L of water a day
Have a great day & happy low-carbing ;)

Diet Rite

I'm not sure if you can get diet rite soda where you live but it is diet cola made with Sucralose instead of Aspartame...also caffeine free...just fyi....karen.....p.s. REALLY hot here today too! Water is probably my best bet!

Hi Karen,
Thanks for responding to this thread ;)
HK is about 20 years behind the states & Canada in LCwise, seriously
We can't get the amazing Diet Rite here
My friend is going to Florida in August & I've asked him to bring me back a few cans of Diet Rite. He looked at me if I was mad or something :D
Have a great day!

Diet Coke

Just a little note:

I love diet Coke and I have been drinking it for a very long time. I would just like to caution that I am not sure if the ingredients in diet Coke ('Coca Cola light') overseas are the same. I had Coca Cola light overseas and it tasted very sweet to me. I was unable to translate the ingredients on the bottle.

HTH,
Julie

Not fair

I WANT SOME!

It tastes soooo different from diet Coke here. What in the world are they doing different, I wonder? I don't care for sugar, but the Coke light tastes so much different, that I keep checking the label to see if it really is 'light.' :read: :daze:

Thank you!

Julie
