sugar substitute

I read where sugar substitutes should not be used. What about Splenda? Since it is a dirivitive of sugar can it be used? I usually only have it in my coffee in the a.m.

AS, and Splenda is AS, generally should not be used at CM, especially for the first two weeks of CAD. After that it depends if you react to it, most CAs do even if they are not aware of it.

The exception is coffee once a day using AS and up to 2 oz. cream, milk, or half and half. This coffee must be drunk within 15 minutes.
