question for all the ladies

Hello everyone. I'm on my 5th day of induction and have lost 8 pounds so far. I have a question for all the gals out there. Has lc decreased your symptoms during that time of month? Normally I have unbearable cramps round the clock during the week of my period and have always had to take medicine for the pain. Amazingly, they have dramatically diminished! I can't think of any other reason other than my lc woe. I haven't taken one pill for my cramps this week. This is so strange to me, but I sure won't complain! :daze: Has anyone else out there ever experienced this before. I would love you hear from you!

For the first 4 months on this diet, I did not notice a change. I went off the diet for a few months to do some testing and when I started back up again I noticed that I didn't double over in pain when it was that time. In fact I was actually shocked.
I did however have a mild headache for 3 days before I started, however I would be more than happy to take that over being in sever pain.

Gee, wish it had that effect on me. Although this way of eating has made me regular as compared to before, the pain from cramps is still very much a part of my life.

I have

noticed a reduction in TOM symptoms...less cramps....still get headaches...but the intensity of them has reduced greatly.

I have considerable less cramping on this program... I typically do not get much PMS other than cramping.. and this past TOM... hardly a wimper from me... I think it is the protein and the WATER.... What a great side benefit!

Oh I really believe LC has improved the symptoms at this time of the month.....no headaches, no bloating, and no stomachs cramps, it could be from my daily walking too, but what ever the case, its helping. And the big bonus is, when its finished, the whoosh fairy visits me and takes away 3 or 4 pounds. I can now throw that tynol bottle in the garbage

Well with me. I do suffer from pms. In the beginning of this woe, I noticed an improvement with that, but lately (just this past week) I suffered bad headaches and pains, not pms so much, not even wanting chocolate, which I always want, but talk about headache and body aches, something I'm not use to. I even had to ask the hubby the other day on the way home from work to pick me up some midol. I never take this!!!

The body is something eh?

In my case, my PMS symptoms have subsided a great deal. There have been a couple of months where TOM happened without any of the PMS nastiness. I have noticed that there is still about a 2 pound weight gain which disappears within 2 days of onset.
