It's full title is "Fatkins Resolutionary Diet: How to Eat What You Want and Pretend to Lose Weight... ", it's just a spoof on Atkins and diet books in general. On the cover is has "Includes manual adjustment instructions for your gluco-remasticationary level" I've glanced at it in a bookshop and it looks quite funny.

I looked it up on Amazon. It's not released yet in the U.S. -- due out in March 04. Here's what they had to say.

Editorial Reviews
Book Description
Who is Dr. Fatkins? Some say dietary prophet, some say scientific genius, some say, 'I hope I don't have to sit near him in a restaurant!' After years of trying and failing at other diets, Dr. Fatkins realized the only true way of seeing a leaner you in the mirror was pure self-delusion. The Resolutionary Diet is an eating and drinking diet without hunger, guilt, exercise, self-restraint, or support groups. This is a diet for those who love real food - full of fat, sugar, and with plenty of double cream on top. Why Fatkins works: Get Up and Go - anyone can put a bit of lettuce on a plate, but getting up off the sofa, slipping out of your pajamas (optional), and driving to the fast food drive-in -- that uses valuable energy. Fat and sugar, mmmm! If God had meant us to avoid them, would he have invented the donut? Understanding the hunger hang-up: Stomach pangs are just nature's way of saying, 'Can I have fries with that?'

My daughter bought me the book at Christmas, there are some amusing bits but I wouldn't waste your money it's a one joke book and wears thin after a few pages.
