I have yet to see any of the shows with Dr. A., so I'll make sure not to miss this one.

They are probably re-airing it because of the NY Times magazine article by Gary Taubes and the interview with him on CNN this morning.

How about this coverage? I saw the author of the Times piece on MSNBC yesterday morning and my jaw almost hit the floor when everyone in the segment endorsed LCing!

Well, I waited up but no Dr. A - I guess they've moved that segment to Friday, 7/19...at least tonite's stories were interesting too! I'm really looking forward to hearing him speak...

Atkins featured on 48 Hours TONIGHT
 

Just a reminder since I forgot about the Dateline piece myself... on your local CBS channel, 48 hours is examining the Atkins diet. Sounds like a pretty positive report from the previews.

You beat me to the punch..lol. I was VERY excited when I seen this comercial.
I was also skimming through the tv channels a couple days ago and found a lowcarb insert on CNN. A guy from Italy has known for years that lowcarb is the only healthy way to go and has been trying to come up with pastas, breads, muffins..all that stuff. It goes on sale (on the computer too I think) in a month or so. It is called Ros-95. The name Ros is the name of his wife and 95 is the year he started to work on this food. He makes his flour from vegitables...lowcarb one of course. They showed his food being tested in NY. Alot of folks didn't care for the pastas...but they were chiefs...what do you expect. They also let a lowcarber test the stuff...she LOVED it!!

You know, watching THAT episode with Dr A was the reason I got his book and started this WOL!! :thup: So glad I saw it! Even more glad I found this web site a few weeks later :thup: :thup:

:( Sorry, but I missed the show. But, I have complete faith in the Atkins WOE. I started on Atkins on February 1,2002 and as of June 1, 2002 I had lost 41#. Then I decided to try switching to the Sugar Busters diet for a while. I have been on since then and have only lost 10#. I started back on Atkins today, July 19,2002. I have 74# still to lose and know I can accomplish it on the Atkins WOE!!
