Christian SAHM looking for a buddy....
 

Hello!
I'm getting back into LCing and have about 95 to lose. I'm almost 40, a mom of 6 children - 2 in college, homeschooling my 17 yr dd and will homeschool the 3 little ones (4,3 & 18.5 months) too. I would love to buddy-up with another mom with a similar amount to lose and perhaps similar interests too. I need accountability!!!!! I'm not doing any particular plan, just my own version of low-carb (under 75 grams). But I have the Atkins and CAD books.

I have hyperinsulinemia, insulin resistance, border-line diabetic, PCOS, Syndrome X and Thrifty Gene Syndrome.

I love to read, sew, bargain shop and I love dogs! We're getting ready to build our dream home/mini-farm and will be adding some farm animals to the mix soon.

I wanted to reply and say I would love to be your buddy! And, I think I know the reason there have been no other replies. email me or pm me and I'll tell you! :)
Anyway, I am 47, almost 48, have homeschooled for the past 18 years. I have on DD at home who is 14, so there are no little ones left. My sons are grown.
I also love gardening but have not been able to do it for awhile, we are renting and no appropriate space!
Also am very insulin resistant, and borderline diabetic. I started Atkins again a month ago, after trying everything else for the past five years. So far I am doing ok, but the urge to eat the wrong things is pretty strong right now-I think due to stress and sickness.
