slow progress
Hi there, i am a newbie two weeks on the pgrm with no weight loss and loss of energy. Also, a non smoker for 5 months.
Any suggestions. Pitam. |
Hi Pitam, welcome!
It's a bit hard to suggest anything unless we know what you've been eating, so how about posting some of your daily menus? Also, how much water have you been drinking, and how much exercise are you getting? Are you eating "frankenfoods" such as low carb bars or sweets? Cheers. :rose:Rosebud:rose: |
slow progress

Hi pitam:
According to what you put in your post on what you ate, I plugged in the foods into Fitday.com. This is what I got Breakfast 2 eggs Lunch chicken breast salad with dressing (you didn't really list dressing, but I added) Dinner Meat (I put in ground beef 7. oz.) 1 cup green beans Below are the totals I come up with. Calories Eaten Today source grams cals %total Total: 959 Fat: 54 486 53% Sat: 16 143 16% Poly: 4 33 4% Mono: 16 140 15% Carbs: 12 28 3% Fiber: 5 0 0% Protein: 101 405 44% Alcohol: 0 0 0% According to your menu you only consumed 959 calories...at your weight you should be consuming 2,000 calories. You took in 12 carbs...you should be taking in at least 20 carbs. Your fat intake should be at 65-75%, carbs 3-5% and protein at 25-30%. If you keep your calories that low your body will put itself into the starvation mode thus you will not lose weight. Hope this helps. Rose |
