Trying to start a new trend.

Lets see if the look catches on, well maybe it will with low-carbers. After already resizing my rings once they are once again to big for my fingers! So I have decided to now start wearing my wedding rings on my right hand! I will admit it is a bit different feeling, but atleast they are not slipping around on my finger anymore! :doah:

This would only be a trend here in America... In Germany that is the hand they DO put their wedding rings on.

Also I heard, If you put your wedding rings on you right hand, it states that you are divorced.

OMG I had to do the same thing. Ihad to switch all my rings up one finger. I have my wedding rings, one of my mothers rings and my mothers ring. I moved them all. I didnt know it meant I was divorced, lol. It is better than losing them tho.

Hey another, quick thought, They use to sell these plastic inserts that fit inside the ring that is to big. Don't no if they still sell them, but you all (whom rings are getting to big, might try calling around to your local jewelry stores and see if they have them)

or do like we did in the real old days, when that boyfriend gave his ring, and it was way to big, wrap sting around it until it fit LOL, Is this showing my age or what

My hands havent slimmed down yet, cant wait for that!!!
I know the string trick too!!! I think they do still have the ring sizers (little plastic thingies) at the jewelry stores.

Hands

My brother wears his ring on his right hand; think he broke his left finger and can't get it on that hand anymore. You wouldn't want to go telling him that means he's divorced.

My jeweler soldered two little gold balls on the inside, palm side of one ring shank. Gave me a bigger weight range for the ring and it's hidden and doesn't get all dirty and grody like the tape or string methods do.

I've moved several rings from my left hand to my right, and one's off my right for the duration until I have enough rings in need of resizing to warrant a trip to the jewelers. In a pinch, you could wear rings on the middle finger, too--most wedding / engagement rings are pretty obvious as to what they mean.

In a pinch, you can buy a plain gold band at WalMart or Sam's for not very much at all and put your real ones away until goal.

There's an even easier thing the jeweler can give you, it's a half circle with a little spring inside, it can be taken off and cleaned. Very comfortable while wearing and virtually undetectable. It will cover a broad range.

I am just glad I can start moving all those rings that only fit my pinky figure up a finger at a time. it is nice to have a selection. When I am done losing weight I will decide where I want each ring and then have them all resized, maybe I will get a deal at the jewerler's
