Tips to keep fat count up please

Im having a hard time keeping my fat at 80% (I hope im supposed to be at 80%). Just curious what everyone does to eat good fat. Dont think I can handle drinking oil :D I do some cream cheese and various fattydeli meats (made sure not cured with sugar) but I feel its still kind of low.

Here is my fitday:

Add butter, olive oil, mayo to items.

By the way- Where are your veggies??

70-80% is a good ratio. Try adding mayo, butter, olive oil, or salad dressing to almost anything. Cream cheese and heavy cream are good also. Things like tuna salad or chicken salad are really mayo-heavy, and nicely fattening.

i love to have mayo with my scrambled eggs in the morning.. but lately i have been questioning this, wondering if i am getting to much fat from it, i cook with olive oil and butter and use mayo on somethings, is it possible to get too much fat? i'm losing pretty well and i feel awesome like i am on some sort of drug or something lol but people sometimes make me question the way i eat hehehehe

I pour heavy cream over strawberries to add fat. :) Macadamia nuts are higher in fat also.

You should be eating at least three cups of veggies a day and when eating them its easy to up the fats up somewhat with salad dressings, butter or olive oil. Also having real cream in tea and coffee are another easy way to slip in some extra fat.

I do eat veggies... Just not yet today. If you look at my past days (not sure you can with the link) you will see I eat salad and misc veggies every day.

In an hour or so I will heat a salad with Oil and Vinegar on it. Then for dinner I will have broccoli and another veggie.

I just had a chicken breast for lunch.. Mayo would have been perfect.. :)

THanks for the suggestions.

When you say real cream... do you mean Heavy whipping cream?

I use the stuff in a little milk cantainer and says coffee creamer on it.

I love Avocados... Can I eat them on induction???

4beans4me Thu, Apr-08-04 10:59

As for the cream, look for heavy cream, with the only ingredient being cream.

1/2 an avocado per day is legal on induction, so enjoy! :D

JamesG, forgive if I sound smug, but have you read the nutritional info on powdered creamer?

I use heavy cream or half and half, because of the above info and carbs and sugars.

However, sometimes I still feel guilty about the amount of fat. . .and also the calories jump up there quickly with the fat.

But I harken back to the plan.
