I started to get aches/pains in my thighs after walking upstairs. I'm not sure whether I should be taking a phosphorus sumpliment to compliment my multi-vits or some other mineral.

i use a potassium suppliment for leg cramps.does work.

With the potassium, calcium and magnesium also helps. 1000mg calcium, 500 mg magnesium and 200 to 400 mg potassium. This should help any kind of leg pain, not just cramps.

Hi Chris
I am on Day 12 of Induction and probably about the same time as you i was experiencing aches all over my body. this has passed now in fact i have had a lot of pain with my lower back over last eight years and i am even finding that the pain there has subsided. So stick with it and hopefully you will feel great after a few more days

Thanks for the info On My Way!! I defintely gonna stick to this WOE as I'm enjoying it so much! :) I might try adding some potassium, calcium and magnesium suppliments as my multi-vitamin doesn't give me anywhere near the RDA on any of these minerals.

I can certianly relate to this post. When I first started Atkins I used to wake up with HORRIBLE charlie horses in my calves. I read on the board to use potassium to get rid of this problem, and thankfully it worked. One pill a day, and no more cramps...I think my pills were 98mg. Now, since I'm a VERY forgetful person, taking a pill every day seems to escape me, even with the memory of those cramps...soooo- I started drinking bottled water. The point?? Most bottled water has potassium added into it. Even only drinking 60 oz a day gives my body enough potassium to prevent the cramps and I'm a pill free girl!
Hope this helps. Good luck!!

Thanks so much for all of you input, the concensus seems to be I need
to take a potassium supplement, since I know it can't be not enough
water since I average 15 to 16 glasses a day.
Thanks for the input!
