i feel like a wet noodle! constantly!!!

hey guys! i am following atkins very closely, counting carbs (always 20 or less; it keeps my cravings down and my moods stable), and working out 4-5 times a week. i do the firm tapes 3X a week (which even up to about 30 min. cardio and 30 min. weight training) and jog once or twice for 30-45 minutes. okay, as of late, i have felt so limp after working out. not only directly after, but the next day too! i have been doing this workout regimen for about a month now; why just now am i experiencing this? i've given myself an extra rest day, too. any ideas would be appreciated! thanks! i did just start counting calories because i experienced a weight gain from overeating. i'm not restrictive...keeping it right at 2000. this includes everything...oils i cook with, butter, etc. i need to know what's going on!

I know the feeling... I get that way if I push my self too hard on workout. Especially cardio. When I was out of shape it use to hit me like that and my day was shot. I would sit all day like a zambie.. Try to ease up on you workout and see if it helps..

thanks arie! i will take your advice and skip a workout or 2...feeling a little reluctant to do so because i love my exercise! but maybe it'll take all this "noodle-ness" away! we'll see!

you probably do not want to skip a workout, just take them a bit easier. Shorten it a bit and see how it feel.

vitamins

Probably no need to let off your workouts if all you're doing is cardio. I would suggest more water and possibly suppliments if you're not already taking those. When you work out, vitamins & minerals are depleted from your body. You may just need to boost them a little.

Good luck!
