Pickles during Induction?

Ok Gang Day 3, still hanging in there. DH gave in last night and caved. He said he didn't like the way this diet made his stomach feel. Am I hungry? Am I full? Am I nautious?

Anyway, I'm still at it full force. My question is about pickles. I didn't see it in the book. I know black olives are ok. I have a jar of Mt. Olive dill midgits in the fridge. The label says serving size is 3 and carbs are 0. Is this ok during induction?

Getting tired of the same snacks (pepperoni, cheese, olives).

TIA!
you guys are great.

pickles are fine, but like the other snack foods you listed all are very high in sodium and could lead to bloating and stalls. So, just be careful how much of these you are eating. I ate a lot of tune, egg and chicken salads those first two weeks (heehee, pickles are good in all three!).

Read the lables. Dill pickles are ok, but sweet pickles are a no-no. Just makes ure to read the carb count and ingredient list to see if it has a ton of sugar added :)

If you're really adventurous you can always make your own.

Yeah, I agree, read the labels carefully. I had one brand that was very good and Low Carb, but then my partner bought a different brand without checking the label, and they were loaded with carbs... so, into the trash they went!
