Withdrawals/ Getting off Sugar

Watching the carbs pretty much eliminates the junk food and sugar in your diet. I go from bingeing on sugar to cutting it out altogether. I go through withdrawals from it. I feel pretty crappy for about two weeks. I have been a carb addict for a very long time, to a point where I have blood sugar problems. I know from watching the carbs my cravings have been reduced a lot. Does anyone else here go through withdrawals getting off sugar?

Well, I thought I was having withdrawal symptoms, but now I wonder if what I was feeling was actually due to low potassium. I was dizzy and blank. If I had it to do all over again, I would take potassium before concluding that I was suffering from withdrawal symptoms.

What I went through during the first 4 or 5 days of LCing can only be described as withdrawal; headaches, nausea, and severe irritability. Since I do not drink coffee or soda , clearly this a reaction to cutting off carbs.
