LOST 5 LBS--end of Induction

Hi everyone,

Well, today ends my 2 week Induction...i'm only down .5 lbs this week...for a total of 5 lbs. I was hoping there'd be more of a loss, but I guess that first week where I lost 4.5 lbs really WAS a lot of water weight!

I'm not sure I'm ready to start adding more carbs. I think I want to stay on Induction for a while. Has anyone ever done that?

Just stayed on Induction?

Thanks for all your support,
:spin:

Hi Josie!

There are quite a few people who have stayed on induction longer than the two weeks, but eventually you will have to move on and progress through all 4 stages so you can learn what your body can and can't handle and how to keep the weight off once you get to your goal. It's not wise to try and stay on induction until you get to your goal weight (not to mention it could get rather boring after a while). Average weight loss during induction is about 10% of what you need to lose but average means that some people lose more and some people lose less. Since you have about 65 pounds to lose, 5 pounds isn't too far off that average so I'd say you're doing pretty good. Still...if you're not ready to move on yet, a few more weeks on induction probably won't do you any harm.

Way to Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the weight loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope after this week, I will have lost that much.

You have done super. I think i have read too, where some stay on the induction phase alittle longer also.
See how you do adding carbs like it is explained too, and see how it goes before staying on induction too long. You might be surprised.

Best of luck in your weight loss.

Nothing is as good as THIN LOOKS!!!!!!
