Netscape is a browser. A browser is a software package that allows you to "see" the internet. Most people use either Netscape or Internet Explorer. If you look at the upper right hand corner of you screen, you will see a multicolor flag (Internet Explorer) or a ship's wheel (Netscape Navigator) I have heard many times that people using Netscape have problems with the chat room. I use Internet Explorer and have never had a problem or a message like you have seen.

hi Nanci,

The log-in problem happens because you're not cookied ;) You need to go to your User Control panel (by clicking on the icon at the top right of every page). From the user control panel, click on Edit Options. Then, select "yes" for the option "Automatically login when you return to the site? (uses cookies)" and "Browse board with cookies". Be sure to click Submit at the bottom. You should be able to get into the Chat Room without any problem. Unless of course you're using Netscape or AOL. ;)
