which book?

Well, if you are looking to do Atkins, I would recommend "Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution". The Zone is a different sort of diet, focused on balance in the proportions 40% carbs- 30% fat- 30% protein.

If you are already cooking Atkins style, his book would be a great one to read. Atkins for Life is good, but talks more about maintenance than the beginning phases.

Hope you find something right for you. Good luck! :)

Thanks Scamito, I hope to get it today, I thought I could take the short cut, but too many times my questions come back with " read the book" :o

Heh... the book is a good resource, can you blame us? In lieu of the book, www.atkinscenter.com has a lot of great articles and explanations. That's how I learned before I got the book. :)
