Is this forum the right place for me?

Hi there,

I'm new to this, and hopeing to find others who are on a LC program based around the glycemic index ? I got this program from a friend of mine in Australia, and it has worked wonderfully for her, and seems to be working well for me too. I'm a little shaking though regarding the scientific priniciples sounding the plan, although I've lost approximately 5 pounds in the first week, am never hungry and have much more energy (although I also seem to need more sleep too :daze: )

I'm also wondering if this is an appropriate forum for me, because most questions and help seem to be around the Atkins plan. I'm not sure if there is anything I will be able to contribute given my alternate choice? What do you think :q:

Thanks in advance for your advice

BTW - can't you tell that I love these smiley faces  :o :( :p :D

Welcome!!!

Hi there!

You'll want to check out the Sugar Busters! forum. My parents follow that plan (Dad was diagonosed with type II diabetes, which is now completely under control thanks to the small changes they made in their diets) with great success.

You're always welcome to post *anywhere* something catches your eye! :)

Also check the Montignac area, since this plan focuses on the glycemic index, in combination with food combining principles.
