vBulletin upgrade, report any problems here

Hi folks,

We have upgraded our vBulletin this morning. Please use this thread to report any problems you may encounter due to the upgrade.

Hi Wa'il:

All forum pages except for the Index are loading with errors. I was using the WYSIWYG toolbar, and on each attempt to post it cleared the form, resulting in an error msg as if I had tried to post a blank. I changed to the "normal" toolbar and now I can post, but none of the tags are working (unless I type them in manually of course). Pages are still loading with errors.

Here is the IE error msg from this reply page:

Line: 452
Char: 1
Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL: http://forum.lowcarber.org/newreply...ote=1&p=1406062

And FWIW here is the error msg I get when I view this thread:

Line: 75
Char: 1
Error: "is_ns" is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...084#post1406084

Thanks for letting me know.

I made a change, try it again and hopefully it is fixed :)

I was just about to report the same thing - it still seems to be happening even now. The error message for this (reply) page is:

Line: 453
Char: 1
Error: Object expected
Code: 0
URL: http://forum.lowcarber.org/newreply...ote=1&p=1406438

And clicking on the color dropdown doesn't bring up a list, and clicking on any of the smilies or buttons for bold and link etc just sends me to the top of this reply page again (not a refresh).

Tholian8 is having the same problem as I am. It seems that before you changed something, going to a thread made an error appear, but now the pages are loading without errors, but the errors appear on the reply page.

OK this reply page didn't come up with errors.

Guided mode. That's new. The drop downs are working now and so are the smilies. :)

The buttons above the words "guided mode" and "enhanced mode" have no images to tell which one is which, but they actually work. See, a word in bold.

O.k. how is it now?

Looks good!

:yay:
All back to normal as far as I can see.

Neat!

The little toolbar next to the quick reply box isn't working for me. Every time I try to click on one of the icons, I get a pop up saying "Please click one of the quick reply buttons to activate quick reply" ... which I've obviously already done. :daze:

That should be fixed now. :)

No problems, just a comment. Is it just me or are the posted replies coming up faster than the speed of light?

I just wanted to say I am really impressed with the technical quality of this forum. Thanks for fixing things and making things work so well.

Love the new formatting in the Quick Reply window!

Thanks, Wa'il!

hi Wa'il,

On opening a thread, I have to scroll before I even see the top frame of it .. I have a 17" monitor, and all the banners and headers fill the screen. Suggestion: remove "Search this thread" from the top .. having the option at the bottom of the thread is sufficient.

Ctrl+End will take a reader quickly to the bottom of the page if they prefer not to scroll to find the Search box.
