What do you snack on?

With a low carb diet, what do you guys snack on? I do pretty good throughout the day but when I get the munchies I want something I can just grab and snack on.

Thanks

cheese.

i eat lots of cheese. it doesn't effect me in a negative way. it's pretty low in carbs, and one serving is one ounce, and one ounce is pretty big.

i am feelin your question though. i would like more to snack on--kind of. i try and NOT snack though, because usually when i do, i don't need to, rather i just want to.

someone once said Turkey slices with cream cheese. that sounds good. i tried some salmon flavor cream cheese on my cheese slices lol, it wasn't too good. there is a Cheesecake flavored Cream Cheese that is pretty good, and only 4g of carbs in a serving. anyway,

hope you find what your looking for.

peace !

i advise against snacking. As you get rid of the carb cravings, you'll start feeling only real hunger. It's an amzing experience to go days and days without the munchies, but you will. Then you'll easily be able to improve your eating habits so that you are only eating meals--and that's a good lifelong habit to develop.

If I do get hungry and have a complicated meal planned for three hours later, I don't eat a lot, just enough to take the edge off the hunger: Nuts (after induction), jerky (homemade), deviled eggs, celery with cream cheese.

Hi! I like to snack on deviled eggs or even a hard boiled egg. I boil about 12 of them ahead of time and that way you can whip one out and cut it up any way you like. They are also good in salads. I also like to snack on bacon. That usually hits the spot. Also, I buy fajita meat and cook it ahead of time and snack on that throughout the day. I am in week 4 of the plan and it is true. You cravings will subside. It is amazing how I only want to eat my meals now. Cheese is a very good snack though. Low in carbs and filling. Eat as much meat as you like though, it fills you up. :D
