I'm still amazed at the results!
My wife had measured me at the beginning of January in order to make me some shirts (which, incidently never got made :P ), but, it's probably a good thing anyways. I'm still losing weight and inches, but, I wanted to share my before/during's with everyone:
Height: 5'6" Weight: 232lbs --> 200.5lbs Neck: 16.75" --> 16" Chest: 47" --> 44.5" Waist: 52" --> 45.5" Hip: 47.5" --> 42.5" Needless to say, I am ecstatic! I started Atkins in the middle of January and the results speak for themselves! I've also lowered my LDL and Triglycerides too :) Legolas |
let me be the first
to congratulate you! Those are awesome stats! I too started in Jan. - down 15# but also lost inches and MOST importantly feel great!
keep up the good work! Jan |
That is so wonderful, Legolas!
I'm sure you feel great. And you deserve to :) I, OTOH, am still waiting for something to move, anything! Been back on the wagon 10 days, (maybe more?) and - nada. Oh well (hangin' in there...) |
Thanks Katana and jers52. I appreciate the support. I never thought that I would be losing weight (and inches!) by eating all the foods I love.
The only issue I have is that everytime I see someone who is really overweight, I have this overwhelming urge to tell them about Atkins.. :wave: Is that wrong? :daze: |
That is really fantastic!! You must feel great :) I don't think it is bad to tell people about Atkins - but for whatever reason, I have noticed all the people who i just casually talk about Atkins to (as in 'i have been trying the no sugar/low carb thing, and feel great') tend to want to know more than if i say 'you should try this!!'... i think that scares people, and then they want to run away :)

That is sooo AWESOME!! :thup:
