No Longer Obese!!!!

As of today my BMI is now below 30 so at least on BMI I am no longer Obese. Now I am just overweight. I feel like this is a milestone and just want to tell everyone. :wiggle:

Cool! New goal time.

Thanks everyone,
I know I have along weigh(pun intended) to go. But I can also say that I am in the best shape I have been in in at lesst 10 years. I also think that I look as thin as I did 20 lbs lighter becuase I have no "Carbo bloat". I really can't wait until I am 50lbs lighter and at my goal weight. I think I was 20 years old the last time I weighed this weight and I wasn't very active. With exercise and activity I really wonder what I will be able to do.
Thanks again
Rod

That's absolutely wonderful, and I can see you're very proud of yourself, as you should be. :)

Congrats. It took me awhile to even get myself ONTO the obese part of the BMI chart (or actually, on the chart itself, since the printed ones I've seen only go up to 35 and I was around 39 or so). Congrats and keep it up !

Congrats!! I have my Body fat taken a couple of weeks ago and YIKES! Depressing. I dunno what my BMI is because I haven't been weighing in that much anymore. Because I get obessed with the scale it seems. . a lot. I need to weigh in soon. :)

Congratulations hotrod! That is a milestone.

Looking at the BMI chart, I now have 26% bodyfat. That's still in the overweight range. Now I need to take that next step and get into the normal range.

Someday you will too!

I KNOW!!!!

I loved it when I became overweight :))

I've just recently slipped from the overweight into the normal BMI range, and that feels good, too.

I know you will be there before you know it.

Congratulations!!!

Way to go hotrod. I have just recently started and have had great success so far, about 10lbs gone after one week. A big part of my motivation for starting atkins, was hearing my doctor say that at 215lbs, I was in the first phase of obese. I had lots of clothes on when I weighed myself in his office, so I made my start point 212 instead. I need to get a chart on BMI, so that I can figure this out; but looking over his shoulder on the chart thing that he had, I beleive I too am in the overweigh category now, and no longer obeses, and that does feels good.

Congrats on you success!
