Where can I buy soy flour?

I have Doc Atkins cookbook and I keep seeing soy flour over and over but went to the store last night and cannot find it......

Anyone know where to get it?

Hi, where do you live? USA or Canada? In Canada we have a store called Bulk Barn. It sells food in bulk (in bins) and you just put however much you want in plastic bags. Bulk Barn has soy flower.

You could also try any other type of store that sells food in bulk like this or even some health food stores that sell food. I don't think GNC (General Nutrition Centre) sells food, only supplements, etc.

There is a great recipe for LC bread that I used to make. It's a bit of work but the taste is better than any of the others (IMHO). If you need the link to the recipe let me know.

Hope this helps.

I live in Illinois in a small town but I know there is a health food store the next town over so will probably check there.

Thanks!

Hi Amy, it might be prudent to phone the store first to see if they carry soy flower. That would save you a drive. I've found that not all health food stores carry grocery items, only supplements and cosmetic typ items.

Take care.

Hey Snowbird NJ!

I would love the locarb bread recipe. Would you mind passing it along to me?

I'm going to post this here and in your journal if I can find it. You can answer me here or in my journal OK? It is so hard for me to figure out what to do or where to go to post things. Know what I mean? Mary Laczkoskie
