can i stop and restart induction?

can i stop induction for a few days and restart it again with similar results as when i first started induction? i lost 12.1 lbs the first four weeks of induction. i'm starting my 8th week and i've only lost 1 lb since those first four weeks. i'm looking to "jumpstart" my metabolism.

You might just want to back down 5 g of carbs and see if that helps. What carb level are you at now?

Please give us a sample of your dailey intake...then we can look at it and possibly make suggestions to help!

Are you still in Ketosis?
How many calories a day do you consume?
How many Carbs? (Gross and Net)
What is Fat % of daily intake?
etc...

Best to all;
Jake

Atkins recommends

If your weight loss stops, and you have not lost any inches, reduce your carbs by 5 grams each day until weight loss resumes. You may end up back on induction but don't rush it. Like Paleoanth stated previously, you might want to start there. I've been holding at 142 lbs for nearly 6 weeks now but I am not worrying about it. I've lost inches. I know weight loss will resume once I add some exercising to my routine ( any minute now :daze: ) and my blood levels are good. However, I don't intend for my sisters to see me in Ohio without losing the next 7 lbs so I may have to jump back into induction by the second week of July :eek: So we'll see.
