Took a 3 week break - now I'm back

Hi everyone, I took a three week break while I changed jobs, not a break for eating this way, but I did stop measuring and counting, and I have neigher gained nor lost for the 3 weeks, so I am very pleased with this. Now that I am in my new job I am going to go back to induction phase and start losing again.

If it wasn't for the 30 lb lose, I don't feel that I would of had the confidence to go out and get myself a better job. Thanks for all who post on this site.

I am back to read and enjoy this site and all the great people who are here.

If you did 3 weeks away and not gained, then please tell us your foods. Did you do OWL? Do you do some carbs? etc.

If you didn't gain or loss during those three weeks great!! I don't think I would have been so lucky. Maybe you needed that time to reenergize, that would be my excuse :p Welcome back ! Its a good time to jump back into things, summer is coming soon.

I just kept eating what I have learned I can eat, eggs & bacon/sausage for breakfast, lots of water, a nice large salad and poppy seed dressing for lunch and a meat/protein, and dinner was meat, more salad & dressing and usually broccoli, cabbage or creamed cauliflower.

All I did was stop measuring all my food, I ate untill I was full/satisfied and I am so happy I did not put on any weight. Now I am going to go back to 20 carbs per day for about two weeks, then increase the carb count slowly untill I am in OWL.

I was so distracted looking for a new job, working full time, interviews in the evening right after work, then coming home and eating dinner, cleaning and doing the same thing all over again the next day, luckily it was only for a short period of time. Now that I am settled again it is nose to the grind stone time for my woe. I guess I am a person who just loves routine, and when I get knocked out of it, it will take me a bit to re-establish my routine again. I think I might panick if I gained even 5 lbs, I don't ever want to be in the place I was before I started this woe, I have more confidence now that I did then, it was the weight lose that made me have the courage to change companies, I don't feel fat anymore I feel great!!!

Enough of my babbling, keep up the good work everyone.

Welcome back!! :)

WTG! You will do wonderfully once you meet your goal! :yay: I did the same thing when I hit maintenance, I stopped weighing and measuring my food and also stopped counting calories. I'm having an easy time maintaining and have even just recently reevalutated my goals. You have proven to yourself that this is a WOL, not just a diet! :yay:
