Yet another Prop for Dr. A.

I've tried a great many diets. Before Atkins, The best I've ever done was lose about 10 lbs over a period of 6 months of a strict diet and daily exercise. Ultimately, The diet killed me. There was no way to stay hungry 70% of the day for a long period of time. Within 6 months, I gained it all back. I even tried slim fast (what a joke that was). Then a pastor at my church told me how he's lost 75lbs and literally saved his life using atkins. After that, I had to see if it would work. I started by just cutting out things like Soda and bread. Kept my carb intake pretty strict. That alone made a huge diffrence and I started noticing a diffrence. So I started on the full program. In almost 2 months, I've lost 25lbs. I'm thinner than I have been in a LONG time, I'm still about 40lbs away from my goal weight, But I know its simply a matter of time. I don't worry about not having the will, because I'm not hungry. I've lost the cravings for carbs, which makes this thing sooo easy. A couple people uninformed on the Atkins plan have expressed concern, but, You can't win everyone. Anyway, It's best thing out there for weight loss. Period.

Hi Harley77!
My story is very similar to yours. I just hit the 200lb mark this morning...I can't remember when I was last this low weight :yay: ! I too have absolutely no doubt that I have finally, after 20+ years of trying found the solution. I have also decided that the best way to answer the critics :nono: is not with words but with success. More and more people are succeeding at Atkins and this is why it is growing in popularity at an incredible speed....not because of hype or great marketing but because people are seeing other people around them succeed and you can't ignore that! Thanks for contributing your inspiring comments!
