Finally-My Own Whoosh!
OK, I finally got an honest-to-gosh whoosh! I decided to weigh in yesterday, just for kicks, a lo-and-behold, 2.5 pounds had suddenly disappeared-what a great feeling!!
 It makes me not only closer to goal weight, but also that much more determined to continue following this WOL. Any other Atkins followers out there in their 50's? I'd love to hear from you, especially- |
Hi and congratulations!
You are pretty close to your goal indeed. Good luck! Alina |
Good for you! Hopefully it will stick! :)

thanks
Thanks, guys, I'm feeling very inspired today. Sorry about the updated news on Dr. Atkins, too. I had heard the original story, but was unaware of the latest, so I'm glad for the thread.

I'm 55. I guess its supposed to be harder to lose weight the older you get. I remember losing 40 lbs after my last child was born and after 6 months at Diet Workshop weighing 142. That will never happen in the rest of my lifetime.

Hey, Fishie-
I'm so happy to find someone else my age-Hi! I know what you mean about it being easier to lose weight 25 years ago after babies, believe me! But I think you are on the right track now. How long have you been following Atkins? I started January 29 of this year, and have been very happy with it. It's a plan I can live with forever!
Don't get discouraged, slow and steady wins the race- All the Best, |
