Withdrawl Symptoms

Hello, group. I began induction today, and I feel really sick. Insane headache, sweats, the works. I really want to get through this, but I'd love an idea of how long these symptoms will last. I have a job to keep and a baby to play with, and at this point, I don't feel like doing either.

I think everyone varies on their energy level. For me, my energy picked up about the 3rd day.

I started taking a daily supplement because I was afraid I'd get the bad side effects - and so far it's seemed to work for me. Hope you experience the same burst of energy I did. It was a great feeling after my body started burning the right kind of fuel.

Hi disjb!
It will get much better soon! My withrawal symptoms lasts about 4 days. Hang in there!
Just be aware of taking your suplements and stay on strict induction. Soon you will feel much better!

Thanks for the reply. But how am I supposed to eat when I feel so lousy? I have zero appetite, and the thought of food makes me nausous.

Hi there.....

Days 4 thru 6 were the worst for me. The good news though is that once you get through them, you will no longer have the cravings for carbs. Hang in there. The nausea is common as well. Just go through the acceptable food list in the book and try to find something that you can tolerate. Maybe a poached egg or two or maybe some roast chicken...both fairly bland.

Just don't give up. You have just begun what is going to be a most rewarding journey if you can make it through this first week.
