Be 8 pounds less by Oct 31!
Hi Lowcarbers!
We did the "Be 20 pounds less by October 1st" and here we are now doing it until the end of the month. I'm getting married Nov 7 so the end of this month is a really important mark for me and I would like to loose as much as I can. So let's start it and try to lose about 8 pounds until the end of the month. The rules are: - NO CHEATING, as in ZERO CHEATS and no excuses. - 64 oz water a day. - 30 minutes minimum exercise a day and no excuse days. - Straight induction or perhaps a bit more of carbs for those who are not in induction anymore. - Take your suplements. - Smile, you are slimmer! :) Cheers, H. |

I'm tossing my hat into the ring. I've had the carb creeps off and on for the last couple of months. Carb creeps lead to pound creeps. Time for a reality check!
I have a little dry erase board in my kitchen where my SO and I usually leave each other messages, but I'm going to turn it into my challenge checklist and use it daily. :thup: They're handy. You can get them at buck stores. Hellraiser, I *love* seeing that name combined with a little terrier dog. :lol: PS - do we get to see the wedding pictures? :sunny: |
Kristine -- that's a wonderful idea about the dry erase board! I have one hanging in my living room but never really use it for anything. Right now it has a message on it from several months ago! It shall become my "challenge checklist" as well.

rosemam: this is the no carb way or the fat highway challenge! I'm not sure we'll all loose 8 pounds but we sure are going to give it a hell of a try! :)

hey all. i'd like to be 5 lbs. less by oct. 31st, by eating lc and exercising as well. i feel so much better mentally with just a little bit of activity everyday, do you know what i mean?
im also going to stop drinking coffee because it just makes me moody i think! how are you all doing? stay strong! it is worth it. =) |

I'm on my second fatfast day. With my wedding in one month I need all the help I can get and the scale just doesn't seam to move down from 151 these days! :( Going for the second fatfast no cheat day... Cheers, H. |
Here is to cheat free, I am really trying to increase my water intake, I am in this challenge, and I also have only smoke a part of one cigarette today, and threw it away. I read an article that says when you quit your lungs start healing and need even more water, so I am chugging away at my desk here......
Feels like everytime I go to the bathroom, I fill up my sports bottle again, and make myself drink it before I can go pee again, I am going to float away. :lol: |

Good luck with the fat fast! I think I might be in a stall, however hopefully that will change, with the start up of tennis practices. So far Ive been drinking 72oz of water a day. And I wont know if it is starting to work, working until Sat. since I made myself PROMISE not to step on the scale untill Sat. I mainly did that because while I never gained any back, its still kind of dissappointing, not changing. (by the way see my journal!I just started YAY)
