Calories
I'm not sure where to weigh in on this - no pun intended. :) I have increased my caloric intake and not my exercise regime and yet I lose weight. Maybe I'm burning the fat I have and don't need to add extra "burn" but I was eating everything in sight that I could the first time I started and I was STILL hungry and STILL losing. What happened? I went too far off program and hit a massive plateau at 2-0-0. The only loss, an extraordinary effort of the last three weeks, has been because I'm trying to stay LC which drives my husband up a wall because we have food but it has to all be prepared before you can eat it. I have to keep snacks and quick stuff in the house for him with ingredients that would literally kill me (anything with tomatoes). Now that I've started again, I haven't paid attention to calories. I have to pick my battles - calories or carbs and I feel much worse if I eat too many carbs or stray off the plan. I'm one of these hyperbusy moms that gets a shower every other day if I'm lucky so having to count calories AND carbs is too much. But I watch what I eat and choose fish and chicken and turkey, limiting red meat to three times a week. But write calories down?? NOT! :p
