Thank you for the birthday wishes! I know I disappeared but my (former) MIL is in the hospital and not expected to come out. I've been busy running back and forth to the hospital with the kids and giving them some emotional support and dealing with my own issues. So thanks again for the birthday wishes it's really sweet of you guys to be thinking of me. I will be rejoining the game but forgot to weigh in this morning! Pretty sure the number won't be pretty...too many Tim Horton's at the hospital (which is Canada's version of Dunkin Donuts for those that might not know!!). Happy Monday!

LISA>> DID IT AGAIN.. wrong chart darlin..... sunny most have posted while you typed. I will fix this...

WELCOME KOSMO!!! I will lt your numbers stand for this game. HIS is how it works.. when you start a new game, the weigh for that day is the start number and will be the current number. Atke 5 off and that is goal. It is not the winning exactly that matters but that you are HERE trying and doing it!!! SO WELCOME.
When posting, it is important to go abck and make sure that no one posted whith you and the last chart numbers are the same as yours... example: LISA ( love her) posted her number and did not go back to see that SUNNY had already gotten her chart up.. so, this is the wrong chart. I usually will not correct it. CHRISSIE has been guardian of the numbers and lets ya know!!! WIsh we all would be so watchful :))
My weight remained the same after hours later so who knows! new charet to follow.

SUNNY!! WAY TO GO :cheer: :cheer: and what a come back! GREAT WHOOSHIE VISIT :hyper: . The water slide has a line starting! :daizy:

CATHY :there: :bhug: so good to see you!!! HARD times happen and we all have had to make tough choices. I hope this never happens to you again.... BUT, since life happens, how about packing an energency supply bag? Get a protein drink, package of seeds or almonds, concentrated drink mix and bottle of wtaer that you can later refill with flavored tuff. I ALWAYS have a couple of prtein drinks in the fridge for emerencies and nuts. Can grab them fast.
EVERYONE here should make a fast to take bag. AND the protein drink cna be Atkins or the ESA brand. LC and NO SUGAR ALCOHOLS is the key... both are very low carb. Most are not. So check carefully.

My summer time group is growing and already it is easy to see who will be successful. I JUT LOVE the excuses as to WHY and NEED before we even start. THE I CAN"T and NEVER did are wioth a try to educate. Probably never had the info they needed and no support. One gal has no computer and will do the pad and paper (her idea) and drive to the library to use thiers! YOU KNOW she will melt away! MAYBE one other will get t hrough the first hooneymoon phase when the weight comes off easily no mater what plan you do The prrof will be week 3-4 when things slow up for a bit.
We all have learned that this INDUCTION is ALWAYS for most of the time while losing weight, and then it become life long when we have our PLANNED off plan meals. It is so mucg easier and more successful that the add a carb and ladder stuff. It works for all, and let's face it.. by t he time we get to goal we KNOW our foods on induction so have the off meals and enjoy it planned.. see the scale go b alistic and know it comes down again when retuning the next meal to the old standards.

We all ask questions here and post our menus and share. We use KETOCALCULATOR to make sure we are in our food number ranges.. helps HUGELY! ask away! ;)

And there is the bounce I was expecting with upping the elliptical intensity yesterday. That's ok fill and repair to help make muscle since muscle burns more calories than fat!!

:yay: KATHY THE WONDER WOMAN IS HUMAN :D BUT I am really happy that the work out are enough to make you retian that water. Must be good to work them! OH PLEASE dp some for me too ;) We all know I h ae that stuff! NO, I DO NOT HAVE TO LOVE MY STUBBORN DEAF GUY! ( just do :thup: ) HE wears earphones blasting music while he works outside and says itis not affecting his ears but protecting them.. sure... CRICKET - here is the recipe I used for the chicken soup. I plugged everything into MyFitnessPal to get the breakdown. :)


Simple Chicken Soup
Servings: 2

1 cup Beans, snap, green, raw
1 Tbsp Onions, dehydrated flakes
½ cup, Broccoli, raw
1 stalk Celery w/leaves
2 tsp Thyme
1 tsp Rosemary
2 Chicken Leg Quarters

Put everything in a pot, cover with water and simmer for about an hour or until chicken is falling off bone. Pull out chicken, discard skin and bones, add back to the soup. Add salt/pepper to taste. :yum:

Nutrition Per Serving:

Calories 375
Fat 20 g
Sodium 633 mg
Potassium 665 mg
Total Carbohydrate 10 g
Dietary Fiber 4 g
Sugars 4 g
Protein 39 g

Paulette thanks for the recipe. I think i'll put it in the crockpot tonight when I get home at 10pm. I'll use breasts and real onion but I hope it will still be amazing.

Cricket I'm like you I stil want to lose a few pounds but everyone around me wants me to quit losing..Chris included. I want to stay between 130-140 that is where I am comfy. I am comfy in my size 6's right now so all is well in my world. I'm staying 100% on plan till my birthday week at the end of the month. I am doing 40 net carbs now though so i'm very happy with my food choices.

Lisa i'm always behind you girl! I got your back!

TY PAULETTE.. HOPE you eat the chicken skin! LOOKS great! and have it saved :)
KATHY.. I strive for less than this weight. I will see how low I can get. Fact is, I have my off plan stuff and blow up so it should prove an interesting WOE LOL... 40 NC.. that will never happen for me. CRAZY HIGH. My total carbs will never be there expect ffor an off plan meal.
KOSMO.. KATHY is the ONLY person here doing the NANY NC plan. KAthy has been with me in this from day one before we decided to do straight Tc. shE IS THE EXCEPTION TO THE RULE!
