Nancy, now that is excellent planning! Happy New Year.🎊
Not many can say they end the year after holidays at a new low :)

Nancy LC Fri, Dec-31-21 11:59

Well, after dinner tonight that will be gone for at least a week!

JEY100 Sat, Jan-01-22 05:21

If you have today off, you can read the entire new 107 page Macro Manual to prepare for class! :) It's on the main community thread.

Happy New Year to all my DDF friends who are adding more challenges. :dazzle:

Nancy LC Mon, Jan-03-22 10:58

Yeah, unfortunately I took the day off to catch up on all the holiday nonsense. But now that the holidays are over I can do other stuff. Hooray!

My pear/pecan praline/panna cotta was wonderful and sugar free except for the pralines and what is in fresh pears. Way high in fat though!

The Macro Masterclass Premium Content is now finally open for everyone who has signed up for the four week class. It has its own Activity Feed, separate from the main group, and a Getting Started Guide to work through before Saturday. As in previous challenges, you read each step, check off when completed, and do a few short posts if you wish, e.g. "Say Hello". Just want to be sure you all have the invite to the class, and not just stumble around topics and groups (as I have been doing for weeks!! )

Also said I would start tracking before the class started..haven't done that either. but yesterday I was 1 pound above where left off the last challenge Somehow the DDF and NO mindset controls regain even well off the LC ranch.

Anyone interest in seeing the new community home, free, inc. a 160 page book on DDF, can join here: https://members.optimisingnutrition...m_source=manual

How are y'all doing? There seem to be fewer questions in the challenge/class this time. Either the new manual and slower pace is helping, or everyone is hopelessly lost and does not know where to even post questions. I am constantly getting muddled between the main group and the premium content challenge/class/group…I don’t even know what to call it. It is taking me a while to get use to the new platform for sure.

thud123 Tue, Jan-11-22 10:52

I'm on pause - doing a bit of ADF for fun :)

JEY100 Tue, Jan-11-22 12:06

I love the guys who can eat 200g of protein…is that in your Alternate day and 0 the next? What do you eat to get that much?

GRB5111 Tue, Jan-11-22 17:07

I'm focused on DDF starting in the next couple weeks. My BG meter is polished and charged. Yes, the platform requires some learning, familiarity.

Ha! Lean meat, low fat, fairly low carb, added egg whites, NF Greek Yogurt desert. stuff like that. pertty boring but on eating days i'm pretty hungry.

JEY100 Wed, Jan-12-22 05:17

So your daily average Protein is minimum 100g? Then I AM eating more
Sure you know that Ted Naiman does not even like OMAD:

Rob, I look forward to having your comments in the community.
Did you get an invite to the Jan 22 challenge? This should be a group in your Premium Content,

"If you're a DDF Unlimited member, you should have received an invite to join the group and should be able to see the Course Content here: https://members.optimisingnutrition...urses/6083080/c...

If this doesn’t open, Marty’s post was in the main group feed yesterday.

yesterday 281g - kind of off topic for this thread but i'm experimenting not with OMAD but ADF where I don't eat for about 36hrs, then the days I eat i spread it out B,L,D - we'll see where this puts my mind and body. Willing to modify :) I plan to do another session of DDF in early Q2 then ease into a non-measuring/eat when hungry, low fat, low carb, high protein (eat every day) routine for spring/summer when i'm most active. maybe an NO Master Class since i'll be upping my caloric intake quite a bit - might even gain some weight :)

Go NO and DDF'ers!

Janet, I received the invitations for DDF Live Q&A starting on the 22nd and have them in my calendar. Good to go. Looks like a large and active group already. I posted my goal just below yours, as I could use a "true up" at this stage. So, that's what I'll focus on in the first DDF for 2022. It's good to know I can participate in all DDF events, as I'll likely have different goals for each.

ETA: DDF is looking like a lifestyle foundation for me. I'm now officially retired from my regular job as of this month (still not sure what that means), so like thud, I'll be very active between VA and MA fishing, hiking, spending time on the water with family and friends. It will be good to periodically jump in to DDF to reinforce consistency.

Nancy LC Wed, Jan-12-22 15:27

I decided to skip the nutrition masterclass this time around. I'm pretty overwhelmed with life right now. Although, my overwhelmed feeling did lead me to make a decision I'm stoked about. I am retiring in September! Almost a year earlier than I had initially planned. So happy!

JEY100 Thu, Jan-13-22 06:50

Whoa, you are all part of the "Great Resignation", messing up an economic recovery, and will have a blast when it finally sinks in! Do not rush into anything right away, "let retirement come to you".
Rob has his days all planned out, and Nancy can ease into her future. My retired friends are so busy now, they wonder how they managed before when work got in the way. And many do add health related and exercise time which takes top priority now.
With DDF I found from Thanksgiving to New Years, it can run in the background, its lessons on Hunger Training and Protein keep brakes on regain while allowing more excursions off the low carb ranch.
