surprisingly i don't miss potatoes of any kind, and i thought that would be the hardest to give up. :wave:

I don't miss:
1.Rice 2.Potatoes 3.Cakes and biscuits 4.Pasta 5.Sweets (candy) I DO miss bread. I used to love a jam sandwich or marmite on toast. |
I was never a big potato eater. (Not including fries ofcourse!) So that was the easiest thing to live with out.

I honestly never thought I would like diet soda, but now if I have a real one, it is way too sweet, and I don't miss them.
I don't miss bread, or rice and am finding there are quite a few good substitutes for pasta. So that is rather fun. :) |

The toughest items for me were pizza and milk.
Thanks to some great recipes from this and other sites, I now have pizza substitutes that make the old pizza seem wimpy and doughy, not even faintly tempted anymore. Milk has been harder, but a nice helping of heavy cream with some berries, or a small portion of LC cheesecake takes care of any cravings in short order, with much less total calories, and almost no carbs. This WOL is good! |
I don't miss sandwich bread... I also don't care about rice (really didn't before either)

Hmmm if I was locked in a room with all these illegal things I would go nuts. I have self control over them and I dont sit and pine over them....but if U told me I could be thin and eat all I wanted....I'd be right back on the carb wagon. But honestly...when I am on the carb wagon I do miss Atkins.
