I am still here too. Hey Shoshie good job :agree: That is awesome. I think I am in the same boat as Gabrielle, Tom is coming soon and it is very frusterating. The only thing that I think is good is because I am still on induction, I think I am losing at the same rate of retaining. BUT no movement down on the scale is no fun either.

Hey daisy I checked out the high fat thing, ouch my head was spinning after reading it, I do a high fat thing already but I definat don't do all that calculations, and wow... Seems great if you can figure the whole thing out, great luck to you if you are doing it, i am sure it is a lot like the fat fast in the atkins book with more calories? and longer time span

Turkey day is getting closer any one doing an all locarb dinner?
We had the whole lc thing planned the my dear father forgot to tell dear mom that he had invited his sisters over for dinner!! oops, oh well we already had dinner planned so I guess they are lc it to , hahah and there the type that tried it for lc for two days and couldn't do it it didn't work , hope they bring there own stuffing, any great lc recipes? we are making lc pumpkin cheese cake!!yum yum |
well thats cool Lcing it for turkey day. I am going to do what i always do for side dishes lol high fat high calories lol I just won't eat too much. I am sure like all others years my stomach can't handle it and I am stcuk in the bathroom late in the evening lol. But I love the corn casserole it doesn't love me.

I had a completly LC TG last year and I'll be doing the same this year. I do end up eating a bit more then usual though but thats about it.

Weigh in today for me.. Drum roll please
my goal for Nov. 23rd was 171 I lost 3.5 pounds. 169.9 That is total amazing for me. I am the slowest loser ever I swear. I have never lost that much since induction back in aug 2001. I am totally amazed. |

Wowers..... Nice going. It just keeps getting better in the LC WOL :agree: You guys rock and inspire us. Way to go! Hey BB, Yeah it is so much calculating it's funny that way. I guess I pay more attention to what I am eating. It is more calories and since I am still the induction phase, my carb ratio is only around 2% to 3%. They can all get theirs to the 5% because they are, for the most part, out of induction and can have 40 - 60 carbs a day. MMM MMM MM won't that be fun to mix and match a little bit more :D Talk again soon, Daisy :wave: |

:agree: I totally agree with Shoshie. I am going to try so hard not to blow it on Thanksgiving. I have already decided I am staying in induction for at least another week. Maybe a total of 4 who knows, we'll see how things are going after TOM leaves :lol:

ya the journal thing is great give it a shot! , staying on induction for more than the two weeks is what I do all the time I seem to stall after adding the carbs back, so I am almost always under 20

Hello Everyone,
Well it is the morning after.... How did everyone do? I hope good and that you weren't tempted in to the awful carb loaded foods out on the table. I we all stuck to the high fat yummy's :lol: :yum: I think I stayed under 20 which I though was pretty good for myself. It was day 15 for me and I said all along that was going to be myfirst day for a little no carb drink and ya know what, I was just to tired at the end of the night I had a wonderful mug of hot herbal sleepy time tea and Loved it. Tonight might be a different story, My DH and I are goin out with our close friends for drinks and fun. So I already know I have to be really careful because I heard it hits you a lot harder when you are LCing. I think we all kinda had different weight in days depending on our start days. I think our next weigh in should be next week, on which ever day was the original day for you. How does that sound??? :D Good Day, I am off to shop and take a walk, Daisy :wave: |

I hope every one is having a nice relaxing weekend and that the LC WOL is treating you awesome. I am a little frusterated but I think it will go away soon :D I lost 4 lbs in that first week and then Tom started creaping up on me and visited around Turkey day. I am still at the same weight and I am really staying under the 20 carb in duction level. My DH and I did go out last night and we had some drinks but I was right back in ketosis this morning. Any words for the down Daisy would be so awesome :help:

Hey for those of you that were up don't get blue it was only a little bit (, just think of it as added water, :) )
My weightloss has decreased since the beginning, but I will meet goal I am convinced and will not give up , I will do what ever it takes |
I went back to the gym today, the goal there is to go atleast three days a week, I hope it helps, I get so afraid when I go to the gym that I will gain!!!!! So all I am doing is walking I walked 1.3 miles today goal is to walk 1.5, We walk at 3.5-3.7 mph, and only walk for 25 min and then a 5-10 minute cool down, I hope it will help with the weight loss I have to loose 3.8 pounds a week, wow that was some goal for myself!! not sure what I was thinking but...

when I choose my goal to reach that was definately a reach/ goal, if I make it great, I know 3.8 pounds a wk is high but thats what I would have to loose to reach my goal, if I get close I will be very happy....
