hi Robert!! It's great to *see* you!!
Congratulations to all of you who've given up the scales for awhile. How does it feel? |
I thought those of you who are taking part in this challenge (and even those who aren't) might be interested to read the following article:
Why the Scales Lie |
great article.....
great article...that's real proof to why you shouldn't obsess with the scale. I have now been scale free for 5 days. yah!
:rose: JON :doah:  |
a week scale free..good results!
I have now been a week scale free. I did measure today and lost an inch and a half from my waist. I lost some everywhere, arms, legs, butt, stomach. A grand total of 8 inches. Screw the scale. We don't need it! lol

How's everyone doing?
Just wondered how everyone is getting on with not weighing themselves on the scales.
It's day 10 for me, and so far, I've managed to stay away from them without too much of a problem. Very liberating! |
scale gone so are inches
Hi everyone,
Its been over 2 wks now without a scale and i measued on sat to find i had lost another 1/2 inch in te waist and a total of a inch and half all over all this week, and 9 1/2 inches lost since i first took this challenge. :cheer: :hyper: :cheer: 2 more weeks to go...then the big weigh day. I blew it, I have used the scales several times... so I'm bowing out of this one. I did join the 'Let's get fit together' Challenge and am really looking forward to it.

Hope everyone is managing to resist :D
Thought I'd flag an interesting thread about the evils of the scale: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...15&pagenumber=1 |
