Walked 25 minutes on my lunch break. I wonder how many extra calories you burn when it's FREEZING outiside?? You can definitely tell how much a short walk increases your metabolism when you walk on a cold day. I was freezing to death when I started walking, but after a few minutes, was quite warm.
Played 20 minutes of basketball tonight & walked about 5 miles (1 hour 15 minutes). 35 situps/20 pushups/stretching/crunches |

I am going to check into getting my gym membership in the next week or so. The weather is starting to get crappy, and right now I'm doing about 90% of my exercising outside so...I guess I'll have add another monthly bill to keep my exercise plan on track! |

Walked 3 miles today. The weather is starting to really cold & icky. I'm going to have to look for alternative ways to exercise. Either that or move to Florida.

Shot basketball today for 25 minutes. All the basketball playing must be paying off....I made 5 3-pointers in a row from the corner missed one, then made 6 more in a row from the corner! I may be getting my touch back after not playing for several years! I am so psyched! :yay:

Friday:
walked 3 miles (45 minutes). Planned to walk 5 but it was SO cold & windy, and I wore my thin swishy pants. I keep forgetting it's almost winter. |

Sunday - 35 minutes stationary bike (at home) Monday: -35 minutes elliptical at the gym - level 6/8 weight loss mode...machine said 445 kcals burned - worked up a good sweat -30 situps (all on slight incline) -2x30 crunches -2x10 leg raises stretching |
Wednesday
Finally got back to the gym today! It is the first day I've actually had the lung capacity for some cardio since I've had this crazy flu. I did 35 minutes on the elliptical in weight loss mode level 6-8 (400 cal). Did a little lower intensity than usual, since I still don't feel 100% over the flu yet. I also did some abs on the 2 ab machines & a little stretching. Thursday: 33 minutes elliptical (335 calories) Abs (situps, both ab machines) Weights (upper back/shoulders/chest) 11 minutes elliptical x-trainer (100 calories) Some light stretching |
