Goals
I would like to reach 150 by 3/04. That is my goal right now. For NYE, I would be happy of reaching 180. I've been teetering on 186 for the last 2 weeks, and today, I weighed in at 188. I haven't differientated from under 1000 calories, and less than 25 carbs a day...
I'm hoping it's just water retention (impending cycle). Currently at 188, 180 by NYE. Anyone wanna work it with me? |
Today is my 43rd birthday. My gf is taking me out to eat tonight and I plan to indulge in whatever I feel like eating. Back to my low carb tomorrow.
Good luck PilotGal. Sounds like a reasonable goal, 8 lbs by New Years Eve. Do you have big plans for that night? |
Pilot... I think that your goals sound reasonable. I was thinking maybe we could all have a cheat-free/excersize challenge for the weeks in between Thanksgiving and NYE. I mostly say this becuase I am going on vacation on the 21st and I'm not committing to staying low carb the entire time. Although, I do NOT plan to throw my wol out completely. But it's New Orleans... the land of deep fried cajun seafood and sugary hurricaines!
Is everyone in here interested in starting a main thread? Should we go ahead and talk to DRWolfe about it? Later! |

Not to mention the pina coladas and daquiris out of the 7/11 Slurpee machines. Or have they outlawed that? I would be in favor of changing our thread name, just to be a bit more inclusive. Emily |
The good thing about N.O. is that you can walk the food off! So indulge, have a great time and walk your butt off!!!!
Hey DRWolf, I'm all for making us the GLBT thread, I'm proud! :agree: :agree: :agree: Yea, I want some people to go cheat free with me til NYE. Going thru Xmas is going to be really difficult, but hey.... I wasn't asking for the moon with an 8 lb loss!! No plans so far, for NYE, but I never know what the g/f is planning. Stay tuned. |
PR, Happy Belated Birthday! I don't know how I missed that yesterday. Hope that everyone is doing great! Talk to you later!
|
Good morning, everyone! I updated the name of this thread to the commonly used LGBT as per your request. If you would prefer that it not be spelled out, just let me know.

Thanks Donald. I think the new name is a great idea.
As for New Orleans, it's where I live. The food is great, and we do still have drive thru Daquiri shops. Have a wonderful trip Joni. Walk your food off in the French Quarter. If you have time check out City Park which is off of Canal Blvd. I think it is by far our prettiest park with lots of walking room, under a canopy of grand old oak trees complete with Spanish moss. Lots of shade and beatiful scenary. Priscilla |
Ok Priscilla, you gotta let me in on some of the best places there to go and see now that you've let out that you live there! :)
Talk to you later! |
Hi all. I'm Kassie as some of you know. I'm actually Bi and not many people I know, know this. I guess I'm alittle in the closet. I've been reading this thread and I find you all so friendly and fun. Mind if I join?
|
Hi Kassie,
Welcome to the thread. I saw your ADDforum link. Do you have ADD? That would be wild...a Bi low-carber with ADD, as I am a Gay low-carber with ADD. The conversations we could have!!! |
The ADD forum is wonderful, you should go there for ADD stuff, lots of guys there, its kinda opposite from here  Check it out, btw I guessed you were ADD because of what you talked about. I'm magical :D

Glbt
Hey thanks DW! It looks great. Now we officially have a home.
oh... and i'll have that GLBT smothered in shredded cabbage and tzazki sauce, but hold the rye!     |
I also wanted to add, notice how quickly you get bored of the food?
Food has no magical taste for me lately, so I haven't been eating as much. Yesterday I ingested 1 turkey burger, 2oz of grilled chix, and then for dinner 4-5 chicken wings. The desire to eat is only to fuel the body for me lately.... Just wondered if this is happening to any of you as well? |
