To Kristine and Doreen, who are still here after starting this thread in 2003! or anyone who knows how to include photos.

I am having a hard time with photos for my success story. Followed the directions for changing the After Photo….nothing worked. Followed directions for reducing size of attachments, which I did yesterday on my most recent comment…now it is so small cannot read the print under the photos.

Somehow Ken and Grav have larger photos imbedded in their story. If that involves adding .html code, that is a pay grade beyond my tech skills.
But in order to read the dates, etc…that is what I would like to do. Could you please explain the easiest way to add larger photos on the post itself? Thanks!

Hi Janet. Sorry I didn't see this earlier... :o

I know that our gallery is buggy and it doesn't seem fixable. But I think what you're asking is how to get those pictures into the body of the post, like Grav and Ken did... correct?

The before and after pic show up full-sized if you use the html code generated at the bottom of the pic itself. Here's what you can copy into your post, just delete the '*'s :

...but I see what you mean about the tiny in-progress one. I think the easiest work-around is to use an off-site photo hosting site. The one I use is https://imgbb.com/. Let me know if you go that route and you need a hand.

Tips for anyone using imgbb (maybe this should be its own thread...)
- I've never been spammed, but you might want to use a trash-heap email address to register.
- You can edit your photo before uploading - I almost always resize mine.
- Once you click 'upload', there's a box that says 'viewer links'. Choose 'BB code full'. You'll get a link that looks like the ones above. Copy that link, and insert it into your post here.

Thank you so much, Kristine!!

It worked! That is using the Image website you recommended. I re-sized to 350 pixels as the widest side, and looks OK, or at least I think so ;) Can I use any size since it is from the image site and not restricted by this server?

I did re-try to update my After Photo using the original instructions here...that was still was not successful. Some error message I didn't write down.
