DH can also mean "d~*n husband", depending on how you're feeling when you post.

Hi Bev - I think more people think of SAD as standing for Seasonal Affective Disorder - so it might be quite confusing. This is where some people who live in harsh climates become depressed due to the lack of sunlight in the snowy/rainy seasons and many have to use special lighting several times a day to relieve the symptoms. There is a section on this board that includes Fibro/Chronic Fatique and SAD - link below http://forum.lowcarber.org/forumdis...25&pagenumber=2 |

Glad to have opened this. I was wondering about all the acronyms being used here. I'm used to some, but some were certainly new to me.
My favorite is DH; I have a special someone in mind to use that one on, it he's still interested. Sigh. |
I have this other one that I have seen a lot...WTG - Way to Go.

My 2 cents' worth
I usually use these to describe the equipment I use at work (which half the time either screws up or just doesn't work at all). Note that there is an escalation, depending on how bad it's malfunctioning...
POC - piece of crap DPOC - d*** piece of crap POS - piece of $hit FPOS - f***ing piece of $hit MFPOS - you can imagine GDMFPOS - well, you get the idea...this is the worst designation, at least that I can think of. If anyone has one any worse than this, I'd love to hear it.... :) |
Here's a few alternatives to SO:
swmbo - she who must be obeyed swirto - she whom I refuse to obey swmom - she who must obey me hwmom - he who must obey me |
B4-before
