Hey Gang,
I feel right at home, lol. I catch myself looking in the mirror and trying to figure out who she is. I do the same things as all of you, always grabbing the biggest size of clothing and trying it on and swimming in it. It's such a nice feeling. I admire all of you for doing such a wonderful job. It's hard work to loose weight, but the payoff is sure worth it!

Yes, the mirror has become my "new friend". I look at this friend too often. One co-worker said I was "lucky" because I have been able to loose weight. I responded "it has nothing to do with LUCK, I worked hard to look this way". I've gone from a size 18 to size 10. Even have a few size 8's now - like the new blazer I wore to Church this morning!

I still have a bit more weight to loose, so I've been shopping at Consignment Stores. There are about 6 good ones within 10 kilometers (16 miles?) of my home. Prices are lower, and I'd rather wear a "gently used" size 10 than a "hanging, baggy, loose" size 16 or size 18 from my closet of older clothes I had bought new!

Looking forward to going on a full-blown shopping spree when I get to my goal weight!

I had been wondering ahead of time what I should do.
I do have a few clothes .. you know the ones that you save because you ARE going to get back into them one day
But I do need more as a couple of dresses and Jeans aren't going to cut it for an entire wardrobe.
Okay...second hand rose.. Here I come!

I'm a thrift-store junkie these days...got a great Old Navy gray sweater, size medium for two bucks...lots of other good deals that will get me through the in between sizes.

I also have the same brand and style of jeans in every size from 18's to 10's... I'm holding on to the biggest ones :D and the smallest ones! All others...to the Goodwill!
