Hi happy.....glad you posted! Thanks for the info

I’m doing CAD so not really doing the 1/3 1/3 & 1/3

I haven’t had anything triggering me yet but I was concerned that having my RM for lunch might. I’ve been having it for dinner

Thanks Happy and Pat!
I really appreciate your support. There’s not to many people around this time of year which is understandable.

There is so much food around my house getting ready for Christmas I really hate to buy early because I have to look at all of it, but if I don’t a lot of items run out.

I have one receipt I make once a year at Christmas that includes Cheese whiz (I know but it’s only once a year) and my Walmart was completely out. Even the GV kind was gone so I had to order it online.

I have Walmart+ so there was no shipping charge and I felt kind of guilty for ordering one jar because of the the Christmas rush with FedX and UPS so busy but I had to have it.

Enjoy the day🙂

Agreed. Planing for a treat is part of the fun of the RM. Hope you'll have a wonderful RM with the Cheese whiz. I remember my first x-mas on CAD, I was loosing weight durring Christmas for the first time in my life ... guilt free - balanced. I could still enjoy the sallad, veggies, all the meat, fish AND treats at the buffet. Love Buffets <3

Ps. oldschool CAD is wonderful, I eat from it too, couldn't live without both plans. Thanks for sharing your journey.

Blessings from Sweden!

I almost think I enjoy the meal planning as much as the eating the meal :)

I collect recipes, as well as create a few, amend some to my tastes. I have 3 large binders atop my refrigerator - one for rm/family/heritage recipes, one for cm recipes, and one of recipes "to try" that have caught my eye.

Today I am making my Sicilian grandmother's recipe for marinara sauce (love this because she didn't use sugar), which in a small amount, works well for a rm. I have to struggle to find Italian sausage w/out sugars, but it is still possible to find. I have a low carb meatball recipe, or I make my grandmother's and simply limit how many I have.

Wow Pat......that sounds delicious😋

I cooked for many years for my family but never really enjoyed it. I did really like baking sweet treats! So I guess I like the eating more than the cooking🤭

Your family is lucky that you have the desire and recipes to make the good healthy meals.

Having spaghetti with sausage for my RM carbs today, really tired today just got back from the dog groomer with my two Yorkies.

It is soooo crowded out today, I’m going to clean the house for Christmas later this afternoon then tomorrow do most of the food prepping so I won’t have much to do on Christmas.

Enjoy the Holidays everyone🌲🌲

Thanks Happy....I don’t think I will be as good as you are at Christmas!

I will just enjoy the holidays and get back to it after the new year. I will also be celebrating my wedding anniversary this next week and will enjoy all the celebrations 🎉
